The reason is this resort hotel is so green, surrounded by well maintained gardens and located exactly at the edge of the natural forest that stretches all the way up to the peak of Mount Pangrango. The resort has some bungallows and hotel rooms. Some years ago, I always chose hotel rooms facing the peak of Mount Pangrango but, sadly, the rooms are now occupied by students of Petrominer, an oil drilling vocational school. Yes, part of the hotel has been transformed into a vocational school. Some facilities, including badminton hall, have been transformed into class rooms and training areas. There are some hotel rooms, particularly those bordering the natural forest, that are still available for guests. Though the rooms do not face the peak of Mount Pangrango but hotel guests can enjoy the view of beautiful gardens with colorful flowers that spread over a hilly landscape from their rooms' balconies. Overall, I must say this resort hotel is still worth visiting. Although the rooms and the furniture are old but they are still well maintained; and the most important thing is the rooms, including the toilet, are clean. Don't worry about the absence of air condition, as the weather is really cool, especially at night. We spent 3 days at our favorite bungalow, 007. They had renovated it, now it has 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms and we took 16 other people including 4 kids with us. As usual, we had the best time. But sad we had to leave after 3 days, back to reality.. But surely we will go there as soon as possible, to spend more time there.
